This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information that is collected automatically when you use the Service, and information from third-party sources. The types of information we may collect include:

Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, location, and any other information you choose to provide during the registration or onboarding process, including your dating app preferences, dating experience level, photo style preferences, and any additional details you share with us.

Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, our third-party payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card details, billing address, and related financial information. We do not directly store your full payment card information on our servers; however, we do receive and store limited payment details such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, and billing information necessary for managing your subscription.

User Content: We collect the photos and images you upload to the Service for the purpose of creating your AI identity model and generating personalized photos. These images may include facial features, body characteristics, and other visual data that can be used to identify you.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with the Service, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, features used, and other diagnostic data.

Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including the device type, unique device identifiers, operating system, and mobile network information.

4. Biometric and Facial Data

The Service uses AI technology to analyze facial features and generate personalized photos. By uploading photos and using the Service, you expressly consent to the collection, processing, and use of biometric data derived from your photos, including facial geometry, facial features, and other biometric identifiers. This biometric data is used solely for the purpose of creating your AI identity model and generating personalized photos. We retain biometric data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup and archival purposes. You may request deletion of your biometric data by contacting us through our contact page, subject to our data retention policies and legal obligations.

We may share your information in the following circumstances: (a) with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support; (b) in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (c) if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our Terms of Service or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Fliqs, our users, or others; (d) in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, or transfer of all or a portion of our business to another company; (e) with your consent or at your direction; and (f) in aggregated or de-identified form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except for information we are required to retain by law or for legitimate business purposes. Uploaded photos used for AI model training may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for the purpose of improving our AI technology even after account deletion, unless you specifically request complete data deletion.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your personal information. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training. However, no method of transmission over the Internet and no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and to distinguish you from other users of the Service.
